TrackerBox2

A camera-based object tracker for use in the FIRST Robotics Competition

This project is being worked on by FRC Team 2706, lead mentor: Mike Ounsworth.

This project is based on previous work by Mike Ounsworth and [Alex Huctwith] at FRC team 3710.

Dependencies

Linux packages that need to be installed:

  • libyaml-cpp-dev
  • libboost-dev
  • libopencv-dev

To install these packages type

sudo apt-get install libyaml-cpp-dev libboost-dev libopencv-dev

Compiling

To compile, do the following from a terminal on the Raspberry Pi:

cd TrackerBox2/network\ tracker
make

The makefile that's there should take care of all the heavy-lifting.

~~ This will need a longer description on how to compile the code, a brief guide to using it (ie calibration etc) and a link to the paper, once published ~~

Running

Run it with

./trackerbox2
