About the Standalone Version

The standalone version is for people who just want to play predefined custom variants but don't want to edit code and don't have any internet connection on their device they play on for the first time they launch the data interface console. The standalone version is literally the same as the non-standalone version, with the exception that C# runtime elements are already included, meaning that they do not have to be downloaded. This means you don't need to install anything and that it is completely portable. The downside to this is that the size is much larger.

Installation

To install the standalone version of the data interface, go to here and download the release version you want. Downloading the most recent release is recommended. Once you have downloaded the zip file containing the data interface you can extract the contents of the file into a folder somewhere. Then run the .exe file to start the data interface console.

Since this is the standalone version you do not need to run it using the batch file. Running it using the batch file will check for the runtime, and install it, just like in the precompiled version, which in unnecessary since you downloaded the standalone version.
