Catalyst-UI

A graphical interface for sounding rocket telemetry

Quickstart

  1. Download and Install the latest version of Python
  2. Clone this repository
  3. Run the following commands:
    1. cd Catalyst-UI
    2. pip3 install virtualenv
    3. python3 -m venv venv
    4. source venv/bin/activate
    5. pip3 install -r requirements.txt
    6. python3 src/main.py
  4. Specify the port for your receiver
  5. Open your browser on localhost:8050

Specifications

This graphical user interface will work with any flight computer that transmits in the following format:

  • All transmitted data must be a string representation of an array
  • Elements should be separated by spaces
  • The first element should be a datatype identifier

Identifiers:

Note: flight states of 0-3 map to "On Pad", "Ascending", "Descending", "Landed" respectively.
