School Application

The School Application is a comprehensive web-based platform designed to manage and automate various aspects of school operations. It provides a robust and user-friendly interface for administrators, teachers, students, and parents to interact and access relevant information.

Getting Started

To get started with the School Application, follow these steps:

Install and Setup Guide

Prerequisites

• Node.js (version or higher)
• npm (version or higher) or yarn (version or higher)
• MongoDB (local or remote)

Step : Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/HemantMedhsia/School_application.git

Step : Install Dependencies

cd School_application
npm install

or

yarn install

Step : Create a .env File

Create a new file named .env in the root directory of the project and add the following variables:

MONGO_URI=<your-mongodb-uri>
ACCESS_TOKEN_SECRET=<your-access-token-secret>
REFRESH_TOKEN_SECRET=<your-refresh-token-secret>
PORT=<your-port-number>

Replace <your-mongodb-uri>, <your-access-token-secret>, <your-refresh-token-secret>, and <your-port-number> with your actual MongoDB URI, access token secret, refresh token secret, and port number.

Step : Start the Backend Server

npm run start

or

yarn start

Step : Start the Frontend Development Server

cd School_app_Frontend
npm run dev

or

yarn dev

Step : Access the Application

Open a web browser and navigate to http://localhost: (or the port number you specified in the .env file).

Troubleshooting

• Make sure you have the correct dependencies installed and that the .env file is properly configured.
• If you encounter any issues during installation or setup, refer to the error messages for clues or seek help from the community.
