Dawnstar: Autonomous Navigation & Perception Agent

1. Overview

Dawnstar is the mobility intelligence layer running natively on Winterhold OS. It handles real-time SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) and autonomous pathfinding for assistive robotics.

2. Core Capabilities

  • LiDAR-OSM Fusion: Seamless transition between indoor LiDAR SLAM and outdoor OpenStreetMap navigation.
  • Semantic Obstacle Avoidance: Deep Learning-based classification of obstacles to adapt movement behavior (Patient-safe).
  • Deterministic Fallback: Hard-coded safety zones validated by the Hearthfire kernel.

3. Governance

Dawnstar follows strict OpenChain protocols. All neural weights and perception libraries are inventoried in the project's SBOM.
