NTNU-2016-IoT WiKi

Requirements

Each project needs to have three technical components: sensing, network, and data analysis.
IoT data has to be transmitted to the assigned MQTT broker (crecaptcha.org; port: 1883) with the assigned topic:
- first project: NTNU/Project/1
- second project: NTNU/Project/2
- third project: NTNU/Project/3

智慧拐杖
- Hardware
  - Arduino 101 (w/ g-sensor, gyro, bluetooth)
  - additional sensor/board/etc: wifi, pressure
  - (may have to compare with 小米手環)
- Internet application
  - FB/email message of daily activity summary
  - Line/FB message of emergency alert (e.g., falling)
  - (may consider to have an phone app interacting with the device)
智慧杯蓋
- Hardware
  - Arduino 101 (w/ g-sensor, gyro, bluetooth)
  - additional sensor/board/etc: 超音波測距
- Internet application
  - FB/email message of daily drinking summary (e.g., times of drinking, 每次喝多少, 多久喝一次)
  - Line/FB message of early alarm (reminder to drink)
  - (may consider to have an phone app interacting with the device)
電子圍籬
- Hardware
  - MediaTek LinkIt Smart 7688 Duo (w/ wifi)
  - additional sensor/board/etc: camera, light sensor, IR emitter, PIR
- Issues
  - false alarm (樹葉、小鳥)，反應時間
  - comparing to the existing systems
- Internet application
  - FB/email message of daily drinking summary (e.g., times of drinking, 每次喝多少, 多久喝一次)
  - Line/FB message of alerts (外來入侵者或小朋友進入禁區)
