Fonts

The poster made me think of an old art style called Art nouveau (or Jugendstil). I've worked in this art style before in the course Graphic Design. All design choices are based on the poster and the chosen art style.

For the fonts I chose some classic Art nouveau fonts, called RunyTunesRevisitedNF and AdineKirnberg-Script. AdineKirnberg-script is a beautiful font with lots of accents and details. It's a little hard to read, so I chose not to use this too often.

Instead, I decided to go with a more bold and simple font. RunyTunesRevisitedNF has a classic Art nouveau style and is used in a lot of artworks. It has just enough SIERLIJKE lines to give the feeling of something nature like, in a soft and beautiful way. Aldo I like this font very well, it can only be used for big text. Using it for text smaller than 3rem will make it unreadable, or at least too hard to read. This is why I chose not to use this as a menu font.
