What to expect

This will be a hands-on workshop. Be prepared to spend half of the time on coding exercises. Please bring a laptop with a fully-charged battery. We will provide as many power strips/outlets as possible, but you may have to share.

Code and presentations are all available here: https://interagencyecologicalprogram.github.io/RforIEPworkshop/

Next Steps

  • Rosie will get the final list of people who signed up on March 1st and distribute it to the session leaders.
  • Session leaders should contact their people with details on software to be installed at least two weeks before the workshop (March 6th).
  • Lynn is checking with Lake Natoma Inn about power strips and outlets. We should be prepared to bring extras.
  • Rosie will bring two different-shaped post-it notes for flagging problems/completing exercises. Session leaders can decide whether they want to use two different ones or just one for flagging problems.
  • If you want your code on the website, turn it into an RMarkdown, knit it to HTML, and put the HTML in the "docs" folder in this repo. Rosie will then link it to the landing page.
