It may be an appropriate example for another documentation site, but the Plutus user guide is not focused on how to build applications (especially after the deprecation of plutus-apps), so this page isn't very relevant. Instead we should pull in some examples from https://github.com/input-output-hk/plutus-pioneer-program.
