Discord Wiki Project

Description

Welcome to the Discord Wiki project!
This project aims to gather and analyze conversations from Discord, providing insights through a variety of tools and features, including:

• StoryBoard: A timeline of activities and events.
• Character Profile: A map of user skills and attributes.
• INsight: A search tool for retrieving and organizing relevant Discord information.

Our goal is to create an insightful repository of conversation data to help users better understand community interactions on Discord.

The Conversation FingerPrint Algorithm

At the core of this project is the Conversation FingerPrint Algorithm, which will process over 100,000 conversations, extracting meaningful insights and patterns. This algorithm is the heart of the project, and its development will drive much of the analysis and insight generation.

Installation

To get the website up and running, follow these steps:

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/JadanPoll/discord-wiki.git

2. Open index.html in your browser:

   cd discord-wiki/Website
   open index.html

3. The website should now be running locally.

For detailed documentation and installation requirements, refer to the docs/INSTALLATION.md file (to be created).

Main Components

• Website: The user-facing portion, dynamically displaying insights and data.
• Algorithms: Specifically, the Conversation FingerPrint Algorithm, which powers our insights.
• Insights & Data Security: Managing database interactions, ensuring privacy, and securely processing data.

All commits are dynamically loaded onto the site, so check back regularly for updates!
