Privacy Policy

Privacy and Security Policy:

• Panda Crazy Max (PC Max) and it's creator values it's users privacy. This Policy page will help you understand how this extension collects and uses personal information. This policy should show the obligation I feel to not only meet, but to exceed, most existing privacy standards.

• I reserve the right to make changes to this policy if things change in the future. To make sure you are up to date on any changes you can visit this page later. If there are any changes I make I will try to post it in the extension description or on github page where the source code is kept.

Information the Extension Collects:

1. The extension will not operate on MTURK pages that show any personal payment information. I have placed an "exclude_matches" statement in the extension manifest for pages dealing with your payment information.
2. The extension does not save or use your personal MTURK Worker ID or Real Name that is shown on MTURK pages.
3. The extension does operate on worker.mturk.com and some specific forums. At this time the forums that it operates on are: forum.turkerview.com, mturkforum.com, ourhitstop.com, slack.com/client/TDBT14TPY, mturkcrowd.com, discord.com (Specifically for mturkcrowd.com).
4. Any pages used in the background are specifically for panda links, search links and your dashboard pages to calculate your earnings for the day. Any earnings for the day are not saved at this time but may be saved in a database on your computer for future use.
5. The data that the script collects are your accepted, returned, abandoned, submitted HITs. It will collect the data given for each HIT from MTURK and place it in a IndexedDB database in your browser. It will also collect data from HITs it sees on the MTURK search page so it will know info for HITs when you need it. All data in your browser database is not shared to any external webpage or other database.
6. When a user exports data to a file then that file is the user's responsibility to keep it safe. The creator of this script does not have access to any data, logs or exported file unless the user allows access to the exported file or logs for debugging use.
7. Data from any forums will only use the specific data for mturk HITs to pass to the extension so it can create panda or search jobs. No other personal information about you on the forums will be used or saved.

Data Use and time frame of Storage:

1. The data saved in the browser's database is used to store the HITs the user wants to collect or find. This data will be kept as long as the user keeps it in the extension.
2. HIT data from MTURK not used by user's saved jobs will be kept for a specific number of days according to the search advanced options. By default this value is 45 days. It also saves any HITs it finds from custom search triggers for a specific number of days according to the search advanced options. By default this value is 10 days.
3. Any stats being stored for saved jobs will be saved until a user removes that specific job.
4. Any data exported to a file will be saved on the user's computer until they delete it. The user is responsible for the safe keep of that file.

Third Party Service Data Sharing:

1. There is no data sharing to third party users outside of MTURK.
2. No data is being sold to any third party for marketing purposes and this includes Amazon. Amazon only has access to the information on MTURK itself and no data from this extension.

Links to Other Websites:

1. There will be links to mturk.com created from the script for easy access to MTURK website.
2. There may be links to Github.com where the source code for the extension is kept. A link to the wiki on Github.com may also be displayed.
3. At this time there shouldn't be any links to any MTURK related forums. The extension does work on some forums but will not show priority to any specific forum. There may be links in the wiki Documentation to outside MTURK related forums.
4. There may be links to my own personal website where I may keep documentation and source code for this extension just in case Github goes down. The link would be pointing to allbyjohn.com. No data will be shared with that website.
