The Qi Authentication Demo consists of three different fragments:

1. Emulate PRx
   When this fragment is shown, the Android device emulates a power receiver.
   On NFC enabled Android devices with Android 4.4 or higher this fragment is shown after opening the Qi Authentication Demo. On other Andorid devices this fragment is not available.
2. Emulate PTx
   When this fragment is shown, the Android device emulates a Qi charger.
   On NFC enabled Android devices below Android 4.4 this fragment is shown after opening the Qi Authentication Demo. On Android devices without NFC capabilities this fragment is not available.
3. Plugfest 2
   At this fragment certificates, certificate chains and challenge/response pairs can be verified. On Android devices without NFC capabilities this fragment is shown after opening the Qi Authentication Demo

If the Qi Authentication Demo app is started on Android devices with NFC, where NFC is currently disabled, then a system setting page is shown to enable NFC. In this situation you have to enable NFC first to continue with this app.
