🛠️ Smart Complaint Management System (SCMS)

📌 Overview

The Smart Complaint Management System (SCMS) is a web-based platform designed to streamline the process of filing, tracking, and resolving complaints within an institution or organization.
It provides students/users with an easy way to submit complaints, while administrators and staff can efficiently manage and resolve them.

    • Login & Registration system with secure authentication.

    • File new complaints with relevant details.
    • Edit, update, or delete complaints.
    • Track complaint status in real-time.

    • MongoDB for complaint storage.
    • Node.js + Express for APIs.
    • Secure session handling.

🏗️ System Workflow

  1. User → Registers/Login.
  2. Complaint Submission → User files a complaint with category & description.
  3. Database → Complaint stored in MongoDB.
  4. Admin/Staff → Assigns complaint to responsible person.
  5. Status Updates → User can track progress (Pending → In Progress → Resolved).
