- Performance: Material API was refactored: the dot is now updated not by
BaseMaterial, but bySimulationManager
depending on a new property:physical_entity. - SFX: Material palette interaction sounds are completely remade, because people
complained about old ones. - Contigious Integration: Now, on every git push, the code is built into binaries and
you do not have to wait for releases to try out new features.
Also, binaries for macOS and GNU/Linux are now available.

v1.1.0-alpha
This is third release of moonsbox, and it brings a lot of content!
Changelog
- 4 new materials: Pure Glass, Absorbent, Aerogel and Dry Ice.
- New sounds: drawing with water, ice melting, water evaporation and freezing, steam condensating
- More user-friendliness: new descriptive README, useful comments in the configuration, more convenient controls
- Various features: material stack, material picker, loading screen, advanced line drawing, diffusion
- Bug fixes: propane is flammable again, sand can fall apart through liquids
Running
To run, simply execute moonsbox.exe.
You can customize the game by editing user/config.toml. Comments inside the file will guide you.

v1.0.0-alpha
This is the first release of moonsbox!
The biggest features:
- 11 materials: Space, Water, Sand, Unbreakable Wall, Lava, +100 K, -100 K, Black Hole, Tap, Propane and Fire.
- Material palette: grid of materials with icons and captions. Intuitive, (but not quite quick).
- Community features: screenshots, saving, and even capturing the game play.
- Customisability: you can change a lot of things using TOML config and freely change assets.
- FOSS: the code and assets are fully opened and the project is under Apache 2.0 license.
