Projects are a great issue management feature which helps you organize issues and pull requests
For better visualization and prioritization of work, you can create as many projects as you need in a repository.
When creating a new API or feature for CommunityAPI we want to keep track of the status of all issues and pull requests related to a specific project.
By creating a project per API/feature it allows anyone to associate an issue and pull request to a project and a more global view of the progress of this project.
In the next step we will learn how to automate the project so that issues and PR are automatically moved from To do
to In progress
to Done
.
- Go to Projects Tab
- Click on
New project
- Enter the name of your API/feature in the title field
- Optionally enter a description to your new project
- Select the template named
Automated kanban
- Click
