Welcome to Sigma Chat – the chat app that brings a whole new level of fun and chaos to your conversations! Sigma Chat is your go-to platform for chatting with friends, but with a twist: every message you send or receive is automatically converted to Gen-Z slang.

Why be boring when you can be extra? With Sigma Chat, you'll never have a dull conversation again!

Features

• Real-time Chat: Like any normal chat app, but better. Messages are instantly transformed into the latest Gen-Z slang.
• Gen-Z Translator: Say goodbye to boring texts. The translator takes your words and gives them a fresh, funky twist.

Theme: "Functionally Dysfunctional"

Sigma Chat was built for a hackathon by Lewis Menelaws the theme "Functionally Dysfunctional." While the app functions like a regular chat app, the "dysfunctional" part comes in with My unique spin on language. The app is designed to be fun and slightly chaotic, embracing the quirkiness of Gen-Z slang while still keeping the core functionality of a chat platform intact.

Usage

1. Open https://sigma-chatapp.web.app/
2. Sign In With Github, Google Or As Guest
3. Type your message as usual – watch it get converted to Gen-Z slang in real-time!
4. Enjoy the chaotic, fun, and functionally dysfunctional conversations with your friends.

For Windows there is an Installer Available. Download It

Installation [Git Required]

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/Kush-Dhingra/Sigma-Chat-App-for-Hackathon-With-Lewis.git

2. Navigate to the project directory:

   cd sigma-chat

3. Install dependencies:

   npm install

4. Run the app:

   npm start

5. Open Url in your Browser

   localhost:3000
