@fillefilip8 went all-in for this shiny new integration for HASS.Agent: provides notifications and mediaplayer capabilities, just by using MQTT! Support autodiscovery out-of-the-box, so no more fiddling with yaml and rebooting HA. You can always add your device manually (through the UI) to still use the local API if you're not using MQTT.

The old integrations keep working if they're fine for you, but they won't receive updates anymore.
