GCVE YY-xx was developed under the "copy-left" GPLv3 license. While the strong interest was extremely humbling, it brought up some concerns about taking steps to protect GCVE for the open-source community but to still allow use for entrepreneurs.
GCVE YY-xx is free software distributed under the terms of the GPLv3 license reproduced below (See COPYING for more details.) GCVE is certified open-source software, is not in the public domain, and its authors retain its copyright.
