This initial release of Smart-Plexer 1.0 introduces the use of the slope parameter (Sc) to rank primer mixes (PMs) for multiplex PCR assays. The code provides a framework to evaluate and compare PMs by calculating the median distances of the slope parameter across assays within each PM. It then ranks the PMs based on the calculated average and minimum distances, providing a data-driven method for selecting the optimal primer mix. This release offers a solid foundation for further enhancements and features in future versions.
