Active Window Hint

The active window hint indicates the currently focused window.

You can choose between 3 behaviors (Preferences > General > Active Window Hint).

Disabled: The active window won't be indicated in any way.
Minimal: When switching workspaces and if there are multiple non-overlapping windows on the new workspace, indicate the active window with a subtle animation.

Always: Indicate the active window with a border at all times. Maximized and fullscreen windows are the exceptions to this.
