LightUps First Release
🚀 Initial Pre-release
This is the first public pre-release of LightUps, a lightweight UPS monitoring solution built with Qt 6.9.1. The core service and monitoring logic are fully functional and ready for initial testing.
✨ Current Features
Windows Service: Runs reliably in the background to monitor power status.
Event Logging: Critical UPS events are logged directly to the Windows Event Viewer.
GUI Monitor: Real-time status dashboard developed with Qt 6.9 C++.
Offline Installer: Easy installation via the Qt Installer Framework 4.10.
🛠 Build Environment
This version was compiled using the following toolchain:
Compiler: MinGW 13.1.0 (64-bit)
Build System: CMake 3.30.5 & Ninja 1.12.1
IDE: Qt Creator 18.0.1
Missing Icons: The Start Menu and Desktop shortcuts do not have custom icons yet. This is purely visual and does not affect the application's performance.
Beta Status: Some UI refinements and additional logging features are still under development.
📥 Installation
Download the lightups.exe installer attached below.
Run the installer and follow the instructions.
The service will start automatically upon installation.
