Performances
Tap on any unlocked song to perform it.
Glee Forever follows the style of most rhythm games, so if you already played some in the past, you can skip this section.
Tap on a note when it reaches the performer card.
If two notes have bars in them, tap both simultaneously.
If the note has a tail, tap and hold until the tail ends. |
There are 2 different virtual money you can spend in the game to perform a song:
-

-
Tickets will automatically refill over time. Wait 15 minutes for 1 ticket.
-
Refill your tickets immediately by using Glee coins.
-
Get tickets as gifts from friends. How to make friends?
-
Event tokens: Monthly challenge event songs require event tokens to play. During an event, you can collect event tokens from any song other than the event song.
There are different types of songs you can play:

Is your favorite song locked? Unlock it!
-
Unlock harder versions of a song by meeting the requirements set for each song. Usually, you have to get 2 stars from a difficulty song to unlock the same song with a higher difficulty song.
-
Unlock competition songs (on the right panel) by collecting a certain amount of stars.
-
Unlock the next chapter by completing this chapter's competition song (on the right panel).
-
Unlock a character's solo song by collecting stage-up story cards for that character.
Tapping the notes in time with the rhythm earns you points. For this reason, it's not recommended at all to play without sound.
Depending on how close you were to the rhythm when you tapped the note, you will get:
- PERFECT
- GREAT
- OK
- POOR
- MISS
The closer to a PERFECT you get, the more points you earn. A MISS won’t earn you any points.
Some cards have a skill that can be activated during a song and ease the accuracy of the notes.
Your cards abilities affect how many points you get:
-
Each card have a performance ability that corresponds to the points you get when you tap a note on this card. You can find the potential performance abilities for all the cards in fr.gl.
-
To increase the cards' performance abilities, rank up your cards by using boost cards or by winning performances.
-
Some cards have a skill that can be activated during a song and give you points.
-
You score bonus points if the note's color matches the card's song type color. See Attributes for more information.
If there is an event going on, certain notes will have event tokens inside them. Just tap the note to collect it. If you miss the note, you'll not get the event token.
Getting two or more GREAT or PERFECT in a row will start a combo, which will also increase the bonus meter. An OK, POOR, or MISS will break the combo, and the bonus meter will reset.
A full bonus meter will light up a letter of the "glee" logo, and give you a boost with your scores. As you light up more letters, you will get more score boost.
Light up all the letters to activate the spotlight mode. This mode will count the points you get as if all the notes and cards attributes match.
Filling up the combo meter while all the letters are lit will start the spotlight mode again.
In the settings, you can activate the option to activate spotlight mode manually. In that case, you must tap the tab on either side of the meter to start it. This option might be useful for advanced players who know the best moment during a song in which they will get a lot of points thanks to the spotlight mode.
To win the song, score enough points to earn at least one star. Keep scoring points to earn more stars.
Your final score determines your rewards.
Every successful performance generates Likes which transform into XP for each cards. Every card in the lineup also automatically collects some XP as well.
You get one story card for each star you earn.
If you’re connected to facebook, use the leaderboard to compare your best scores with your friends. Or you can compare against the best players in the world.
Each song at each difficulty has nine achievements. You can only fulfill a specific achievement and collect its reward once.
The trophy icon on the song entry shows how many you’ve already won. Tap it to see more details.
