The ALX Dark Mode Extension is a free and open-source browser extension that provides a dark mode feature for the ALX intranet platform. This extension helps students who prefer to use the dark mode feature to switch to dark mode easily. Additionally, using dark mode can help reduce eye strain and improve the overall health of the user.
To install the extension on Chrome, follow these steps:
- Download the latest release of the extension from the releases page.
- Extract the downloaded zip file.
- Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions.
- Enable the Developer mode toggle on the top right corner.
- Click the Load unpacked button and select the extracted folder.
To install the extension on Firefox, follow these steps:
- Download the latest release of the extension from the releases page.
- Extract the downloaded zip file.
- Open Firefox and go to about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox.
- Click the Load Temporary Add-on button and select the manifest.json file from the extracted folder.
