Welcome to worklog-manager! This application helps you track your work hours, overtime, and breaks with ease. It also creates detailed reports to keep everything organized. You don’t need technical skills; just follow these steps to get started.

Visit the Releases Page
Go to the Releases page to find the latest version of the application. -
Choose Your Version
On the Releases page, scroll down to find the latest version of worklog-manager. You will see a list of files for different operating systems. -
Download the Installer
Click on the installer file that matches your operating system to download it. If you’re using Windows, look for a file that ends in.exe. For Mac, choose the.dmgfile. For Linux users, a.tar.gzfile is available. -
Run the Installer
Once the file is downloaded, locate it in your downloads folder and open it. Follow the prompts on the screen to install the application. If asked, allow the application to make changes to your device. -
Open Worklog Manager
After the installation is complete, find the worklog-manager application in your Applications or Programs menu and double-click to launch it.

Time Tracking
Easily log your hours worked daily. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly. Just click “Start” and then “Stop” when you finish working. -
Overtime Calculation
The app automatically calculates any overtime based on your working hours. You can set custom working hours and policies to ensure accurate calculations. -

You can schedule breaks and the app will remind you, helping you stay productive throughout the day. -
Detailed Reporting
Generate reports to see your working patterns. You can download these reports as PDF or CSV files for sharing with managers or for your own records. -

Make sure your system meets these requirements to ensure smooth operation:
- Windows: Windows 10 or later
- Mac: macOS 10.12 or later
- Linux: Most distributions supported (recommended: Ubuntu 18.04 or later)
- RAM: Minimum 2 GB
- Storage: At least 100 MB of free space

Creating a New Work Log
Click on the "New Log" button on the home screen. Fill in the required fields, including start time, end time, and any breaks taken. -
Editing a Work Log
Navigate to the log you want to edit. Click the "Edit" button, make your changes, and save. -
Viewing Reports
Access the “Reports” section from the main menu. Choose the date range and type of report you want to generate. Click “Generate,” and you will see the report displayed on the screen. -
Setting Preferences
Visit the settings menu by clicking on the gear icon. Here you can customize work hours, break times, and notify settings.

Installation Issues
If you experience issues processing the installer, ensure your OS is compatible. Check to see that you have administrator privileges to install software. -
Performance Issues
If the app runs slowly, check system resources. Closing other applications may help. -
Logging Errors
If the app does not record your time, confirm you are pressing the “Start” button correctly.
