The CATAP (Controls Abstraction To Accelerator Physics) Library is an Open Source C++/Python API for the control and operation of CLARA, an research electron accelerator based at Daresbury Laboratory.

CATAP hopes to improve the reliability, usability, and testability of all high-level software created for Particle Accelerator control and data acquisition, by providing an easy-to-use interface to the controls system.
