Description
This is to be done while we are waiting to receive the motors: review the available documentation (found here) to understand control methods, communication protocols and capabilities of our motors.
- Identify the communication protocols that are to be used
- List available control options (speed, torque, position, emergency stop features, possible power management modes)
- Provide a list of commands that can be used to interact with the motors
Success Criteria:
- Documentation summary of motor control options and features
- Communication protocol is identified
- Outline of how to send control commands once hardware is available
