Merge-Labs is a collaborative GitHub organization where we build, break, and refine ideas together.
This space exists for experimenting, learning in public, and shipping real projects with friends across the areas we care about most.
Projects here evolve, but the core interests include:
- Backend & Systems Development
- APIs & Distributed Systems
- IoT & Embedded Systems
- Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure
- Data pipelines & real-time systems
- Open-source tools & internal tooling
- Experimental MVPs and prototypes
Some repos are polished. Others are messy by design. Both are intentional.
- Build openly and iterate fast
- Prefer clarity over cleverness
- Use issues and discussions for decisions
- Code reviews are encouraged, not optional
- Learning > perfection
If it compiles, runs, or teaches something useful, it belongs here.
Each repository should aim to have:
- A clear purpose
- A basic README
- Setup instructions (when applicable)
- Honest notes about maturity (WIP, experimental, stable)
- Friends collaborating on shared technical interests
- Builders who like to learn by doing
- Engineers who question assumptions and improve systems
This is not a tutorial farm or a dumping ground. Everything here should have intent.
If you’re part of the org:
- Create a branch
- Build something meaningful
- Open a PR
- Expect feedback
If you’re not part of the org and found this interesting — feel free to explore.
Merge ideas. Merge code. Merge perspectives.
That’s the lab.
