v3.1: Dynamic XStore!

What's new:

UI Changes

• Light theme is back! (That also means the theme toggle in settings actually does something now)
• New buttons with images added to replace the boring old text buttons (stuff like download and open user page)
• A cool new splash screen featuring a never-before-seen NCX-Core banner

Behind the Scenes Changes

• XStore is now dynamic!
  This means that we can easily update any part of XStore like the download link for a program or the link to the author's page without releasing an update to NCX-Core. We can even add new programs!

What's coming:

• UI refinements
• The first time setup screen's return
• An accompanying, more refined, version of NCX-Core Updater
• Screenshots coming back

Beta-Core v3.1

What is this?

This is a near-finished build of NCX-Core 3.1, but built from Beta-Core source code that isn't present in the NCX-Core repo.

What's new:

• Light theme is back
• New buttons in almost every place that uses buttons
• An online-updating XStore!

v3.0: The biggest update yet!

What's new:

(really, what isn't new?)

UI Changes

• Remade the entire UI, making it much more user friendly and intuitive
• Added a "Featured" spot on the main menu, along with spots for 3 recently updated programs
• Added a button to quickly launch NCX-News+ (if it's installed) while on the main menu
• Added a left side navigation bar, making it easy to get around

Internal Changes

• Uses purely pages now, with only one window to decrease time needed for navigation
• Removed the built in updater in favour of using NCX-Core Updater, which allows the use of NCX-Core betas
• Added nightly support to more programs

Bugs fixed:

• Restored compatibility with CSharpCollection (for real this time, I know the notes for v2.9 said this too)

v3.0 Release Candidate

Here it is! The NCX-Core v3.0 Release Candidate build. It's nearly ready for release, but for now, enjoy this pre-release build!

What's available:

• The main menu
• Functioning library
• An almost-perfected version of XStore
• The about screen
• The settings screen

What isn't in this build:

• Any functioning update system

Note: Release v2.9 will not try and update to this beta, don't worry

v3.0 Public Beta 1

Yep, it's here! The first NCX-Core v3.0 Public Beta! Have fun!

What's available:

• The main menu
• Functioning library
• A (somewhat broken, but still usable) XStore

What isn't in this build:

• Settings Screen
• About Screen
• Any functioning update system

Note: Release v2.9 will not try and update to this beta, don't worry

v2.9: Patch Update

What's new:

• Added the option to download Nightlies for Ian's C64 Title Loader

What's fixed/changed:

• Restored compatibility with CSharpCollection (aka you can install/update it again)
• Name officially changed from NCX-Installer to NCX-Core
• Behind the scenes work to change installer file name (it will change next update)

v2.8: Introducing XWare!

What's new:

• Added XWare to X-Store, allowing you to download bite-sized NCX-Core addon software (https://github.com/NinjaCheetah/NCX-XWare)
• Fixed the broken windows that didn't have dark mode
• Added a reload button to fix issues where the home menu wouldn't auto-reload after installing stuff

What's coming:

• Using the actual GitHub API to check for updates, meaning X-Store can check any of your software for updates

v2.7: Darkmode!

What's new:

• Replaced the light theme with a dark theme! Note: A few windows do not have it yet. It will be fixed in v2.8.
• Changed the main menu layout. The empty space will be filled in v2.8
• Moved the about button into the settings menu
• Changed the settings menu layout
• Added a new button in X-Store, find out what it does in v2.8

What's coming:

• XWare

v2.6: New programs!

v2.5: Fixed some of what I broke in 2.4

What's new:

Nothing really, this was a bugfix update

There is a chance those updating from 2.3 may have trouble. If there are problems, I recommend uninstalling 2.3 and then installing 2.5 instead of using the update feature.

Also, the file name for the installer will change to NCXInstallerSetup.msi next release (oops I forgot this release)
