Cursor Free Trial Reset and Trace Cleaner

This Python script helps to securely delete certain traces of the Cursor app and reset its free trial. It requires administrator privileges to run effectively.

Installation

1. Clone this repository or download the script file.
2. Ensure that Python 3.x is installed on your machine. You can download it from python.org.

How to Run the Script

1. Download the Python script (e.g., reset_trial.py).
2. Open Command Prompt or PowerShell as Administrator:
   • Right-click on the Command Prompt or PowerShell shortcut and select Run as Administrator.
3. Navigate to the directory where the script is located:
   • Use the cd command to change the directory, for example:

     cd C:\path\to\your\script

4. Run the script with the following command:

   python reset_trial.py
