Mystara Arena

Welcome to the Mystara Arena documentation wiki. Here you will be able to find all the documentation that will be used during the development of the game, Mystara Arena. Mystara Arena is a college project game that will be developed over the course of the subject, Project II. The objective of this project is to create a fully featured game that can be played through from beginning to end and that can be learned in about 10 to 20 minutes. We will be taking most of the art from the arcade game "Dungeons and Dragons: Shadow over Mystara", a beat'em up game released by Capcom in 1996.

D&D:SoM will be the game we will be taking assets from. This game is a sequel of the previously released game "Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom", that came out in 1993, also developed by Capcom. After SoM, Capcom would release "Battle Circuit" in 1997, and never again develop an arcade 2D sidescroller.
