Approved by the core team, but not implemented, yet, because there was no reaction to this PR and a lot less activity in Nixpkgs recently. We just want to avoid adding a new committer who will immediately be inactive anyway. @06kellyjac are you planning to be active going forward and would you be interested in getting the commit bit in the first place?

Hello all, just catching up on notifications post Christmas. Sorry I had a lot of PTO left this year so I went cold-turkey on tech since the 13th.

I've actually been in favor of the merge bot over more committers so it's funny to say this now we have a very helpful merge bot: yes I'd appreciate getting commit bit.

I was going to say it'd be good to have for CODEOWNERS to work but it looks like our new custom ci/CODEOWNERS (PR #347610) doesn't suffer from that shortcoming.
The main remaining reason will be the non-mergebot-able PRs where updates need fixes to ladybird/deno/posix-stage0 etc
