This is the current stable release version of the Panopto plug-in for Moodle. It is recommended that customers update to this version of the block.

This version supports (a) Moodle 3.9, 3.11, 4.0 running with PHP 7.4 and 8.0 and (b) Panopto version 9.7.1 or later.

Below is the list of updates from the previous stable release (2022070700).

  • Added PHP8 support to the plug-in
  • LTI tool links created by the Panopto block setting “Automatically create an LTI tool link for new courses” can now be renamed via the Panopto block language file.
  • Fixed an issue where a course may get mapped to a new folder when the block instance settings were saved.
  • Fixed an issue with SSO where users were not getting properly logged into Panopto in rare circumstances.
  • Minor changes to meet Moodle code standards.
