Usually you will use PiSCSI as a SCSI target connected to your computer. But there are also applications where you would like PiSCSI to take the role of the SCSI initiator. The scsidump tool is an example for this operation mode. With scsidump you can create backups of your hard drives, and you can also restore these backups.
