Okay so by contrast to our other approaches, if we went this route we'd be much more subject to rot. we're essentially on the hook for maintaining a mapping between one universe and another.

if you'd asked me in July I'd say that was a terrible state of affairs.

but in the Opus 4.5 universe, I think maintenance becomes pretty straightforward: you load the docs for both platforms and let the robot reconcile.
