🚀 Getting Started

  1. Download ZenSlice
    • Head to the Releases page and grab the latest installer for Windows.
  2. Install & Launch
    • Run the installer and ZenSlice will appear in your system tray.
    • Click the tray icon anytime to open the digital wellbeing dashboard.
  3. Explore Your Dashboard
    • View daily app usage, weekly screen time summaries, and actionable insights into your desktop habits.

🛠️ Tech Stack

ZenSlice is built using modern web technologies packaged for the desktop:

  • Frontend: React.js, Material-UI (MUI), Recharts
  • Backend: Electron.js, Node.js
  • Database: SQLite (Local Write-Ahead Logging for high-performance concurrent tracking)

📤 Exporting Your Data

ZenSlice allows you to export your tracked data into Excel for easy sharing or analysis.

  • Go to Settings → Export Data
  • Choose a date range
  • Your data will be saved as an .xlsx file directly to your local drive.

🔧 Settings & Controls

  • Theme Engine -- Dynamically switch between beautiful color themes (Autumn Glow, Burgundy Sand, Peach Aqua, Lemon Violet, Sage Olive).
  • Auto Start -- ZenSlice launches automatically when your computer boots.
  • Clear Data -- Easily reset your stored history if needed.
  • Tray Menu -- Right-click the tray icon for quick access.
