This application makes the use of Wireless connectivity to an access point (hotspot) on a smartphone to scan the MAC address of the base station, in order to determine the presence of a particular person (the owner of the phone). This is very useful for taking attendances of pupils in a classroom, thereby reducing effort of teachers.
