Data Basics Spring 2019 Workshop Session Two |

This 8-week workshop will teach the basics of the Python programming language with a focus on managing data. Each week will cover the following topics:
- January 29th - Data Centric Python with Jupyter Part 1
- February 5th - Data Centric Python with Jupyter Part 2
- February 12th - Computing Environments and the Unix Shell
- February 19th - Data Processing with Python and Pandas Part One
- February 26th - Data Processing with Python and Pandas Part Two
- March 5th - Data Visualization with Python
- No Session, Spring Break!
- March 19th - Relational Databases and SQL Part One
- March 26th - Relational Databases and SQL Part Two
Times:
- The Data Basics workshop series will be Tuesdays from 1:00pm to 4pm
Location:
- Schenley Place (4420 Bayard St.) Room 311A/B (Third floor. Look for the sign “Center for Research Computing”)

Bring a laptop (and power). You do not need to install any software, everythign will be running in the cloud.

We will be using the Center for Research Computing services for hosting the course.
