Hi,

Is there any plan to extend this algorithm for ROS noetic as well?

The package works perfectly fine on ROS noetic. You can just clone it into your workspace and build it as you would any other package.

Unfortunately there are no releases so you will not be able to install it via apt-get, at least not at the moment.
