Caution
The gcode in this repository will run as a "print" and therefore increment the total "Printing Time" of your printer! Do not run the gcode if you would like to maintain your actual print hours!
The Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printer does not have a drying cycle like the more expensive X1 series.
This repository is a collection of gcode files for a more automated way drying Filament and Dessicant inside the Bambu Lab P1S (or even the X1/X1C if desired).
The temperatures are based on recommendations from Bambu Lab for filament drying.
All filament drying gcode files run through a 12 hour cycle.
Dessicant drying time is a 4 hour cycle.
Dessicant will dry quicker and better in a tray with 60°c as the bed temperature.
Recommend using PETG, ABS or ASA as the material for dessicant drying tray.
If dessicant tray is made from PLA or similar materials with low temperature thresholds, use the 50°c drying gcode instead.

- Load the respective gcode for desired temperature/filament
- When heatbed starts to lower, insert spool or dessicant tray
- Place cover over filament spool. Leave Dessicant Tray open
- Ensure printer chamber is closed (top lid & front door) and let cycle run
Be cautious of hot temperatures when removing filament / dessicant.
