to start the application navigate to geophic/geophic1 , use the following command:

npm start
To start the backend :
naviagate to ./geophic1/src
run python fetchnews.py

The news frontend is available at :
geophic/geophic1/src/globe.js
Backend is running in geophic/geophic1/src/fetchnews.py

make sure to run the python file( backend in a virtual environment)
