Commands 04 Other settings

Descriptions for commands that are modifiable through the OPTIONS -> CLASSICS PATCH -> Other settings menu.

Menu options

sam_bBackgroundGameRender - Keep rendering the current game in the background of an in-game pause/Escape menu (ON by default).
sam_bExtrasMenu - Replace MODS button in the main menu with EXTRAS that contains extra functionality (ON by default).
sam_bAdjustForAspectRatio - Set screen's wide adjustment according to the aspect ratio of the game window; fixes HUD display on wide resolutions (ON by default).
- Replaces functionality of the vanilla sam_bWideScreen command, which now acts as an alias for this command.
sam_bDecoratedServerNames - Toggle text decorations in the names of servers in the list, such as color tags and flashing (ON by default).
sam_bPatchVersionLabel - Toggle patch version label in the bottom right corner of the main menu (ON by default).

sam_bOptionTabs - Toggle separation of options by tabs on the left side of the screen (ON by default).
sam_bConfigValueLists - Toggle easy-to-use drop-down lists for config options that have more than 2 values (ON by default).
sam_bModernScrollbars - Toggle usage of proper scrollbars for scrolling the menus instead of old Page Up and Page Down buttons (ON by default).

sam_bLevelCategories - Toggle selection of a level category before selecting a level to play (ON by default).
sam_bLevelFiltering - Toggle level filtering options in the level selection menu for easier navigation (ON by default).
