There are plans for a major rewrite (5.0.0) that will be aimed at a more public audience with easier to digest documentation and a number of major improvements (an npm release and drastic size reduction for example)

Until then please feel free to open issues and bugs, but feature requests will likely not be considered until after 5.0.0 is out
