Changes

Changes from v1.1.1

  • Lowered corner slightly more to clear room for trigger wire.

Soldering Notes

  • Make sure it's not soldered completely flush with the board, but slightly elevated hinging up to prevent rubbing against the shell.

  • When soldering, make sure the solder goes in the castellated hole and over the pads so it flows on top of the board.

Ordering Guide (JLCPCB)

Gerbers

Upload the gerbers.zip file as the gerbers for the project.

PCB Options

If you know what you're doing, you can pick different options here. This is just what's recommended.

  • Pick a quantity of 50 or less (or more if you wanna go big, but you'll have to opt for Standard assembly)
  • 0.8mm PCB thickness
  • Lead-free HASL finish
  • Let JLCPCB know that you don't need proper castellated edges.

Try to match your settings here (they might be a bit differently sorted and labelled if it's been a long time since this release)

Part Selection

  • Make sure there are no out of stock parts, if there are, you may have to pre-order them or email them about when they'll be back in stock.
  • Alternatively, scroll down to see valid part replacements you can pick in the part selector screen.
  • Ensure that the description of each part (ex: 220k) matches the matched part in some way.
(matched part details can be expanded by hovering over them)

Part Position

  • You shouldn't have to do any edits here, but you can scan to make sure there's no missing or badly positioned parts.

Product Description

Order

Enjoy your new boards! JLCPCB might email you about the gerrymandered extension being too thin, but you can request that they still produce the board anyways. It shouldn't be an issue.

If you have questions, feel free to ask me them on Twitter or Discord (Savestate#7958).
