- Add MIT LICENSE file to repository root for proper open source compliance
- Move helper scripts to scripts/ directory to reduce root clutter:
- analyze_distributions.py, requirements.txt, run_examples.sh -> scripts/
- test_*_sampling.sh scripts -> scripts/sampling/
