Fixed module initialization issues that prevented proper imports:
- src/recording/__init__.py: Added exports for ScenarioRecorder and related classes
- src/perception/__init__.py: Created missing __init__.py file
- src/visualization/__init__.py: Fixed circular import by using relative imports

The ScenarioRecorder class and other recording module classes are now properly
exported and can be imported. This resolves the ImportError that was preventing
the application from starting.
The BEVGenerator class requires two arguments: config and calibrations.
Previous code was only passing config, causing a TypeError.

Fixed by:
- Extracting calibrations from CameraManager after initialization
- Converting CameraCalibration objects to dictionary format expected by BEVGenerator
- Passing both config and calibrations to BEVGenerator constructor

Updated in both:
- src/main.py (main system initialization)
- src/gui/workers/sentinel_worker.py (GUI worker initialization)
The ObjectDetector class requires calibration_data as second argument.
Previous code was only passing config, causing a TypeError.

Fixed by:
- Passing calibrations dictionary to ObjectDetector constructor
- Using detection-specific config from config.get('detection', {})

Updated in both:
- src/main.py (main system initialization)
- src/gui/workers/sentinel_worker.py (GUI worker initialization)
The VisualizationServer expects a config dict, not a port parameter.
Also, it doesn't have start()/stop() methods - it only has a run() method
which is blocking and meant to be run separately or in a different process.

Fixed by:
- Passing full config dict to VisualizationServer constructor
- Removing start() call (server should run separately if needed)
- Removing stop() call (no such method exists)
- Adding comments explaining visualization server usage

The StreamingManager can still be used for async data streaming
without running the full FastAPI server.
The set_color_zones() method expects 3 separate tuple arguments
(green_zone, yellow_zone, red_zone), not a single list containing
tuples with color codes.

Fixed by:
- Changing from list of tuples with colors to named arguments
- Removing color codes (colors are hardcoded in the gauge widget)
- Using proper tuple format: (min_value, max_value)

Fixed 2 calls in performance_dock.py:
- CPU gauge color zones (line 535)
- GPU gauge color zones (line 502)
The PerformanceDockWidget was inheriting from QWidget instead of QDockWidget,
which caused a TypeError when trying to add it to the main window's dock area.

Fixed by:
- Changing parent class from QWidget to QDockWidget
- Adding QDockWidget to imports
- Setting dock widget title in __init__: "Performance Monitor"
- Creating a central QWidget for the dock (required by QDockWidget)
- Using setWidget() to set the central widget
- Updating _init_ui() to accept widget parameter and set layout on it

This allows the PerformanceDockWidget to be properly added to the main
window using addDockWidget().
Modified CameraManager to allow operation without physical cameras:

Changes:
- Removed RuntimeError when no cameras are initialized
- Added simulation_mode flag to track when running without cameras
- System now runs in SIMULATION mode when no cameras are available
- Generates mock gradient frames for testing without hardware
- Added _create_mock_frame() method to generate test frames
- Logs warning instead of crashing when no cameras found

This allows developers to:
- Test the application without camera hardware
- Develop and debug the GUI without physical cameras
- Run demo/simulation mode for presentations

The system gracefully handles the missing cameras and continues
operation with simulated camera frames.
Removed simulation/mock mode - now requires real cameras:
- Removed simulation_mode flag and mock frame generation
- System now fails clearly with helpful error message if no cameras available
- Added detailed camera status logging (which cameras are active/missing)
- Better error messages with troubleshooting steps

Added camera detection utility:
- scripts/detect_cameras.py - detects available cameras
- Shows resolution, FPS for each camera
- Generates configuration recommendations
- Helps users configure the correct camera devices

The system now works with any number of available cameras (1, 2, or 3)
and clearly shows which cameras are active and which are missing.
Added CameraViewerDock - a comprehensive camera viewing widget:

Features:
- Displays live feeds from all 3 cameras in grid layout
- Real-time frame updates with frame counter
- Freeze/unfreeze capability for examining specific frames
- Screenshot capture - saves all camera frames to screenshots/ folder
- Status indicators (Live/No Signal) for each camera
- Multiple view modes (Grid, Single, Picture-in-Picture) - ready for implementation
- Clean UI with camera names and feed status
- Handles missing cameras gracefully (shows "No Feed")

Integration:
- Added to widgets/__init__.py exports
- Ready to be added to main window as dock widget
- Connects to camera bundle signals from worker

This provides users with real-time visibility of all camera feeds
directly in the GUI for monitoring and debugging.
Camera Synchronization Fixes:
- Increased sync tolerance from 5ms to 50ms (configurable in default.yaml)
- USB cameras typically have 30-50ms timestamp differences
- This eliminates 100,000+ sync failures per session
- Made tolerance configurable: cameras.sync_tolerance_ms in config
- Added logging of sync tolerance on startup

Camera Viewer Integration:
- Added CameraViewerDock to main window (left dock area)
- Connected camera feeds to worker frame_ready signal
- Shows live feeds from all active cameras
- Tabified with Performance dock for space efficiency
- User can switch between Performance metrics and Camera feeds

This resolves the frame synchronization warnings and provides
real-time camera feed visibility in the GUI.
- Fixed undefined timestamp variable in worker processing loop
- Changed to use process_frame() for automatic trigger-based recording
- Increased camera sync tolerance from 50ms to 100ms to handle observed 60ms timestamp deviations
- Addresses AttributeError: 'ScenarioRecorder' object has no attribute 'should_record'
Detection optimizations:
- Only warn once per missing camera calibration (not every frame)
- Prevents thousands of duplicate warnings in logs

Segmentation optimizations:
- Rate-limit slow inference warnings (log every 100 occurrences instead of every frame)
- Reuse pre-allocated GPU tensors to avoid memory allocation overhead
- Use contiguous memory layout for BGR->RGB conversion
- Enable CUDA cudnn benchmark mode for optimal kernel selection
- Use non-blocking tensor copies for better GPU utilization

Expected improvements:
- Reduced memory allocation overhead in hot path
- Better GPU kernel performance with auto-tuning
- Cleaner logs without repetitive warnings
Major enhancements:
- Added support for AdvancedTrajectoryPredictor with LSTM-based prediction
- Integrated AdvancedRiskAssessor for enhanced hazard detection
- Engine now switches between basic and advanced modes based on config
- Advanced mode provides:
  * Multi-hypothesis trajectory prediction with uncertainty estimation
  * Physics-based models (constant velocity, acceleration, turn rate)
  * LSTM neural network prediction (when trained model available)
  * Collision probability calculation
  * Motion history tracking for better predictions
  * Enhanced risk scoring with trajectory-based analysis

Configuration:
- Set risk_assessment.trajectory_prediction.enabled: true for advanced mode
- Set risk_assessment.trajectory_prediction.use_lstm: true to enable LSTM
- LSTM model path: risk_assessment.trajectory_prediction.lstm_model

Benefits:
- More accurate trajectory predictions
- Better risk assessment with collision probabilities
- Uncertainty quantification for decision making
- Adaptive prediction based on object motion history
