Android Tutorial

Installation [WORKING] ✅

Steps:

1 - Download KnightInstaller_Android.jar

2 - Download and install the latest release of pojav via Google Play Store or Automatic Builds

3 - Transfer the files to your device

4 - Start Pojav, click "Execute a .jar"

5 - Go to the jar file's location and select it

6 - Click "Mouse" to enable it

7 - Click "Start", wait for it to show "All done!", click "Exit"

8 - Repeat steps 4, 5, 6, 7

9 - Click up arrow near play button, select "Spiral Knights"

10 - Click "Play", "Local Account", input any username, "Login", click "Play"

11 - Wait for the game to load and then uncheck "Login as Guest"

12 - "Options", "Video", Graphics Quality: "Low", "Edit Addvanced", check "Compatibility Mode" and "Cull Transients", "OK", "Quit"

13 - Repeat steps 4, 5, 6, 7

IOS Tutorial

Installation [NOT WORKING] ❌

Steps:

1 - Download KnightInstaller_iOS.jar

2 - Download the latest successful development build of net.kdt.pojavlauncher.ipa

3 - Transfer the files to your device using the Documents app over local wifi or using the SendAnywhere app (both of which are available on the App Store)

4 - Install IPA using Altstore / SideStore / Trollstore

MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE (DEFAULT) GAME DIRECTORY / PROFILE BEFORE RUNNING STEPS 5, 6, 7

5 - Start Pojav, click menu on the top left, click "Execute .jar"

6 - Go to the jar file's location (Documents if you used that method) and select it

7 - Click "Start", wait for it to show "All done!", click "Exit"

MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE (DEFAULT) GAME DIRECTORY / PROFILE BEFORE RUNNING STEPS 5, 6, 7

8 - Repeat steps 5, 6, 7

9 - Start Pojav, click menu on the top left, "Profiles", "Game directory", select "spiral"

10 - On the "Profiles" tab, under "PROFILES IN THIS INSTANCE", select "Spiral Knights", "Renderer", "Zink"

Fast Login [WORKING] ✅

10.1 - OPTIONAL: Select the "Spiral Knights" profile again, add the following to the beginning of "JVM Launch arguments": -Dusername=USERNAME -Dpassword=PASSWORD -Dknight=KNIGHTNAME -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+UseG1GC, replace USERNAME, PASSWORD, and KNIGHTNAME with your username, password, and knight name respectively

BUG FIX

10.2 - Change name of the profile to "Spiral Knights New", Click "Done" on the top left not bottom right!

10.3 - Switch to the "Spiral Knights New" profile

10.4 - OPTIONAL: Click menu on the top left, "Settings", "Control customization", disable "Hide controls when hardware is connected", enable "Virtual mouse"

11 - Click menu on the top left, "Settings", "Java Tweaks", Enable "Auto RAM"

12 - Click "Play", "Add account", "Local account", Any username

13 - After Spiral Knights launches and you see the "Your client needs to be updated" message, exit the app, switch back to default game directory / profile, repeat steps 5, 6, 7

Knight Creation / Login [WORKING] ✅

Play Game [WORKING WITH MINOR VISUAL BUGS] ✅

Custom Touch / Gamepad Controls [UNFINISHED] ⚠️

• Download
• Place at path: "On My iPhone" > "PojavLauncher" > "controlmap"

Applying Performance Mods [WORKING] ✅

• Open Files app
• Go to "On My iPhone" > "PojavLauncher" > "instances" > "spiral" > "spiral"
• zip the "rsrc" folder
• transfer the zip file to your computer using the Documents / SendAnywhere app
• unzip "rsrc.zip"
• download and extract LowQualityPatchExpanded.zip inside the rsrc folder
• download and extract 0_FPSplus.zip inside the rsrc folder
• zip the "rsrc" folder
• transfer the zip file to your device using the Documents / SendAnywhere app
• move the zip file to "On My iPhone" > "PojavLauncher" > "instances" > "spiral" > "spiral"
• delete the "rsrc" folder
• unzip "rsrc.zip"
• delete "rsrc.zip"
