Project in Simple Words

Think of it as a Swiggy + DTDC + IRCTC combined — but for Indian Railways.

People can book a railway parcel online without standing in long queues.

They can track their parcel in real-time just like you track an Amazon delivery.

Passengers can order food or items from station shops in advance, so when their train reaches the station, the order is ready for pickup.

All this runs on cloud so it’s accessible from anywhere, secure, and scalable.

The Problem You’re Solving

How It Works Technically

Frontend: React Native (Mobile), React.js (Web) → User-friendly interface.

Backend: Node.js + Express → Handles requests, authentication, payment.

Database: MongoDB (AWS DocumentDB or MongoDB Atlas) → Stores booking, orders, tracking data in a flexible, scalable NoSQL format.

Cloud Services:

AWS S3 → Stores receipts, QR codes.

AWS Lambda → Runs serverless tracking updates.

AWS IoT Core → Connects GPS devices for real-time location.

Security: JWT authentication, HTTPS encryption.

Payments: Razorpay or Paytm integration.

Implementation Plan

Phase 1 – Research, UI/UX design, database schema setup in MongoDB.
