I ended up sticking with grid because that's what made sense to me and what was working. I tried some flexbox to see if I could get a similar result, and it got really messy. I still don't understand flexbox very well; I did a lot of guessing with the frogs until I got it right. Maybe some more real-world examples/exercises with flexbox would help?
