Scouting usage

Ridgebotics scouts matches with 6 scouters, one per robot. There is sometimes a seventh scouter that is writing a scouting report while the others are scouting a match.

Usage

The process for scouters doing scouting is really quite simple. From the "Scouting" tab, there are three options: "Match scouting", "Pit scouting", and "Status"

Match scouting
  • There are a list of fields that can be entered for each robot.
  • By clicking on the header for a field, the field be disabled.
  • The "Next" and "Back" buttons let users increment and decrement which match they are scouting.
  • The header is ether red or green, signifying if the data is saved or not.
  • The data will automatically save after 2 seconds of inactivity after interacting with an input
  • By clicking on the header, the interface will cycle between the current scouting interface.
Pit scouting

Mostly similar to match scouting, except the team is selected before the scouting interface comes up.

Status

The status menu shows if a team has pit scout data, and which matches have been scouting using red and green indicators.
