Smart Glasses Language Translation Example

This is an example app that projects live language translation on your smart glasses. It works in conjunction with the SmartGlassesManager.

Installation

  • Install the SmartGlassesManager on your phone and make sure it's running.

  • Build this app in Android Studio and install it on your Android smartphone

Usage

Once installed, you will likely want to set the source and target languages (default: English -> Spanish). To do this...

  • Open the SmartGlassesLanguageTranslation app, and select your preferred languages from the dropdown boxes.

  • If a selected language hasn't been used before, you must then click the "download model" button below the dropdown box.

Once you've set up your preferred languages, launch this app via the SmartGlassesManager by saying: "Hey computer, translate ...(some words)..."
